create a home you love coming home to

you have a vision for your home.
let’s give it somewhere to land.

You want a home that feels cared for. A home with rhythms that make everyday life a little easier. A home where you're not constantly trying to remember what needs to be cleaned, planned, bought, scheduled, or done. Not perfectly organized or meticulously managed. Just intentionally and faithfully stewarded.

Making a Home gives all those good intentions somewhere to go, with practical tools and simple systems that help you care well for your home and the people inside it.

A LITTLE INTENTION GOES A LONG WAY

you don't need to become a
"type A mom" to run your home well.

Maybe you're naturally organized. Maybe you have three laundry baskets of clean clothes waiting to be folded and no idea when you last changed the furnace filter. Making a Home is for both.

Homemaking asks us to carry a lot. Meals, schedules, tasks, appointments, birthdays, rhythms, prayers, plans. Most of it lives tucked inside our heads, hoping to be remembered. When there’s no place for those details to land, even a well-loved home can start to feel noisy and scattered.

Making a Home was created to change that.

Making a Home is a home management system designed to help you take the recurring work of running a home and give it a place to live outside your brain.

If you're managing your home from your head, this is for you.

Cleaning. Meals. Laundry. Planning. Home maintenance. Family information. Finances. Seasonal tasks. All the little things you're constantly trying not to forget. You'll have practical tools to help you plan it, write it down, create a rhythm for it, and come back to it when life changes. Because it will.

This isn’t just a set of printable templates. It’s a growing resource to help you put good intentions into practice and steward the everyday work of home with a little more order and purpose. I’m not emailing you a binder and ✌🏻 out. You’ll have ongoing support, new resources, and a community of women learning to care for their homes well right alongside you.

this is not a binder full of things you should be doing

And I really don't want it to become one. You do not need to print every template. You do not need to track every habit. You do not need a cleaning schedule broken down to the minute. And you definitely don't need to become a Type A, color-coded-planner person to care well for your home.

Use what makes your life easier. Skip what doesn't.

Maybe your Making a Home binder has six sections and 50 pages. Maybe right now you need a cleaning rhythm, meal plan, home maintenance calendar, and somewhere to dump everything that's been living in your brain. The point is that you've built a system that is sustainable for you and helps keep your mental load clear for the things that matter more. The system serves the home, not the other way around.

You can:

👉🏼 Print and use them individually

👉🏼 Organize them into a binder, or multiple binders

👉🏼 Laminate them or use with sheet protectors & wet-erase markers

👉🏼 Reprint your most-used pages as often as needed

Every template also includes a digital, editable version. You'll have access to open the templates in Canva to customize text, dates, or layouts. (Free account required)

This isn’t just a set of printable templates. It’s a thoughtfully built resource designed to be assembled, flexible, and expanded over time. You’ll receive assembly guidance  to create your home management binder, along with cover pages, category tabs, long-term usage support, and lifetime updates as the collection grows.

"but I'm not really an organized person..."

Good. You don't need to be. Making a Home is for the woman with the beautiful planner and the woman who forgot where she put hers. The homemaker who loves systems and the mom who doesn't know where to start. The woman who's already pretty on top of things but wants one central place for it all, and the woman who feels like she's constantly playing catch-up.

Organization isn't a prerequisite. A desire to care well for your home is enough. Making A Home will help you with the rest!

A LITTLE INTENTION GOES A LONG WAY

we're not chasing perfection around here.

The floors are going to get dirty again. Someone will undo the laundry you just folded.

Dinner will need to be made tomorrow, too. There will always be another appointment to schedule, filter to change, grocery list to write, room to reset, or task to remember.

Making a Home isn't going to eliminate the ordinary work of caring for a family. It's going to help you approach it with intention. Not because a clean house makes you a better mom or because productivity is the measure of a good homemaker. And definitely not because your home needs to "measure up" to anyone else's standards.

It's because caring well for what we've been given is an act of obedience, and it matters more than you think. We're not striving for meticulous homes. We're learning to faithfully steward the ones we have.

MAKING A HOME

one resource for every season

Your library is divided into two sections:

CORE

The everyday pages you'll mix and match to build your home management binder, from cleaning and meal planning to home maintenance, finances & more.

ADD-ON

Larger, multi-page resources created for a particular need or season. Use them on their own or create a separate binder for the ones you love.

imagine...
  • Knowing exactly where your family's important information is when that emergency happens.

  • Finding your realistic cleaning rhythm instead of waiting until the house feels out of control.

  • Routinely knowing what's for dinner before 4:57 p.m.

  • Remembering the home maintenance tasks before they're overdue.

  • Having a place to put the thing you keep telling yourself, "I need to remember that."

And when life gets busy and your routines inevitably fall apart?

You don't have to reinvent them. You have somewhere to come back to. And when it's no longer working? You just shift it.

That's the kind of organization I'm interested in.

FAQ: Common Questions Answered

Is Making a Home a physical product?

No. Making a Home is a digital membership, so you’ll get access to your online portal immediately after purchase. From there, you can download, customize, and print the resources you want to use.

What’s included?

You’ll get access to the full Making a Home template library, binder components, member-only tools and guides, updated versions of resources, and new templates added over time.

Do I need Canva?

Not for everything. Most templates can be downloaded and printed as-is. You’ll need a free Canva account if you want to customize editable pages or personalize certain binder components.

What if I don’t know what templates I need?

You definitely don’t need to use everything at once. Inside the portal, you’ll find a simple getting-started process plus an optional quiz to help you figure out which templates would be most useful for your home right now.

How many times can I print the templates?

As many times as you need for your own household. Your membership includes unlimited printing for personal use.

How do I access my files?

After checkout, you’ll be redirected to your online portal. You can return anytime at gatheredhomeandkin.com/making-a-home and log in to access your membership.

Is the membership a one-time payment?

It can be. You can choose a one-time payment for lifetime access or a lower-cost annual membership. Both include the same resources. Lifetime members never need to renew, while the annual option has a lower upfront cost.

Can I join for a year, download everything, and not renew?

Absolutely. Anything you download while you’re a member is yours to keep and use in your own home.

Once your membership ends, you’ll lose access to the online portal, future updates, newly added resources, member-only tools, and the Making a Home community. Staying active simply means the system can keep growing with you as your home and season change.

Will I have to pay extra for new templates?

No. New Making a Home resources and updates are included while your membership is active. Lifetime members continue receiving them without renewal fees.

Do I need special supplies?

A regular home printer, paper, and binder are enough to get started. You can always add sheet protectors, cardstock, tabs, laminating, or other supplies if you want (tips inside!)

Can I share the files with someone else?

Your membership is for personal household use. You can print as many copies as you need for your own home, but the digital files cannot be shared, resold, or redistributed.

What is the refund policy?

Because Making a Home is a digital product with immediate access, all sales are final. If you ever have trouble accessing your membership or files, reach out and I’ll be happy to help.
