A cozy, festive creamer you can make right at home

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

There’s something about the Starbucks Sugar Cookie Latte that just tastes like Christmas in a cup. It’s cozy, nostalgic, and perfectly sweet, but it’s also surprisingly simple to recreate at home. It also happens to be one of my favorite flavors from Starbucks menu!

This homemade sugar cookie creamer is made with just a few ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. It’s creamy, festive, and full of that soft almond-vanilla flavor that makes it feel like a sugar cookie fresh from the oven.

Making your own creamer also means you can skip the artificial flavors and unnecessary additives, keeping things simple and balanced while still celebrating the season.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups half & half

  • ¼–½ cup sweetened condensed milk (adjust for sweetness)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • optional: festive sprinkles! These ones are dye-free and found at Wal-Mart!

How to Make It

  1. In a bowl, cup or blender, combine the half & half, almond, vanilla, salt, and sweetened condensed milk.

  2. Whisk or blend until fully combined.

  3. Pour into glass jar or storage container. Label it if you'd like, I love this labeler and use it for EVERYTHING!

  4. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Shake before each use!

That’s it — a creamy, dreamy sugar cookie creamer ready to pour into your morning (or afternoon...or evening) coffee.

To Use as a Cold Foam

If you love iced coffee or cold brew, this creamer also makes the perfect cold foam.

  1. In a small frothing cup or jar, combine 2 tablespoons heavy cream with 1 tablespoon sugar cookie creamer.

  2. Froth until thick and creamy.

  3. Spoon over iced coffee and top with festive sprinkles if you’d like a little extra cheer.

This creamer is a simple alternative to store-bought holiday creamers that often contain preservatives, gums, and artificial flavors. This way, you know all the ingredients in your cozy cup! It’s proof that cozy seasonal flavors don’t have to come from a store..they can come from your own kitchen, made with ingredients you trust.

Plus, you can customize it to your taste. Want it sweeter? Add a little more condensed milk. Prefer a stronger almond flavor? Add another splash of extract. It’s flexible, forgiving, and perfectly festive.

Final Thoughts

There’s something special about creating small traditions in your own kitchen. This sugar cookie creamer has become one of mine — a simple recipe that makes every morning feel a little more joyful.

Pour it into your favorite mug, turn on the twinkle lights, and take a quiet moment to slow down and savor the season.
